Our Audit and Assurance team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Auditor to take on a leadership role and assist with team supervision, planning and workflow management as well as completing client work.

In this hands-on client facing role, you will deliver an exceptional client service with a focus on quality and an in-depth understanding of client needs. The team will look to you for leadership, guidance, training, and allocation of work. You will work closely with the management group to ensure the smooth running of the team and that client work is completed and allocated appropriately.

The Ideal Candidate:

As the candidate, you need to have strong technical abilities, an eye for detail and ability to communicate to clients and your team. You either have previous experience in a senior role or are ready to demonstrate your ability by taking the next step into Management. You are motivated to work as part of a team to provide excellent client service while developing your own skills.

  • Designing, preparing, and completing audit and assurance engagements for all client entities.
  • Planning, leading, and delivering on engagements against established deadlines and budgets.
  • Reviewing files whilst providing guidance and feedback to junior team members.
  • Collaborating with clients to identify critical project outcomes, work products, barriers to success and changes in expectations or scope.
  • Ensuring all compliance and regulatory quality assurance requirements are met.
  • Providing training, direction, and advice to team members where necessary
  • Building client relationships and networks
  • Bachelor of Commerce (accounting) & completed Professional CA or CPA qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of and exposure to Microsoft office suite products
  • Strong Exposure to accounting software, including CaseWare, Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
  • Demonstrate your experience with sophisticated business structures and workflow management
