Bar Yuki is Milton’s chic and playful late-night bar, blending full dinner service with cocktails, sake, and party vibes. We’re known for delivering polished hospitality in a fun, vibrant setting where locals and visitors come to eat, drink, and celebrate.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead the bar operations, drinks program, and help shape the ongoing success of Bar Yuki. The ideal candidate is hands-on, hospitality-driven, and thrives in a high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house and bar team to deliver exceptional service.
Work with the FOH manager to oversee daily operations, including staff rostering, stock management, and venue presentation.
Manage beverage program: ordering, stock control, costings, and menu development in collaboration with ownership/chef.
Maintain compliance with RSA, licensing, health & safety standards.
Drive sales and customer engagement by creating a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional manner.
Assist in planning and delivering events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
Contribute to building a strong, positive team culture aligned with Bar Yuki’s brand.
Skills & Experience
Previous management experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and sake (training provided if required).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, late-night environment.
Strong organisational skills, with experience managing rosters, ordering, and budgets.
Current RSA certification.
