Set in the rolling hills of Gleniffer, Promised Land Stud features expansive private gardens that are both beautiful and meticulously maintained. We’re looking for a dedicated Gardener to help care for and enhance these grounds — someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has a creative eye for plants and landscapes. You’ll be part of a small team, working alongside one other full-time experienced gardener.
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our outdoor spaces. The Gardener will ensure that our gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Responsibilities:
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Maintain and mow lawns and edges
- Trim and prune trees and shrubs
- Apply fertilisers and pesticides as needed
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Maintain garden equipment and tools
- Keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris
- Assist with garden design and seasonal planting
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as horticulture, landscaping or groundskeeping
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs
- Ability to operate and maintain garden equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
