Housekeeping Room Attendant

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team in Pyrmont / Darling Harbour. This temporary, casual role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our 4 star guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will contribute to the overall guest experience by upholding our high standards of cleanliness and service.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Change bed linens and towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
• Assist with laundry duties as required.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning procedures is preferred.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
