About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Account Manager to join our team and work alongside our Sales Manager to support and grow our customers base. You’ll be the friendly face of ASI for councils across New Zealand – building relationships, understanding their challenges, and helping them get more from their technology investments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to get into B2B technology sales with real mentorship and a clear growth path.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Getting in front of customers – Regular visits the customers across the North Island (and occasionally further afield) to build relationships and understand their needs
- Learning the business – Shadow experienced team members, attend vendor training, and develop your knowledge of enterprise IT
- Supporting sales activity – Prepare quotes, maintain our CRM, and help coordinate orders when you’re back in the office
- Spotting opportunities – As you get to know your customers, you’ll start identifying ways ASI can help them do more
What You’ll Bring

- Organised and reliable – you follow through on what you say you’ll do
- Happy to travel – you’ll be on the road 2-3 days per week visiting customers around the region
- Full NZ driver’s licence
Nice to Have (But We’ll Teach You)
- Experience in customer service, retail, or any customer-facing role
- Basic understanding of IT concepts
- Familiarity with CRM or quoting systems
