Packer Machine Operator

Ant Packaging is hiring Packers and Machine Operators for their carbon-neutral factory in Bangalow, NSW.

 About the role

Join our high-performing warehouse and production team providing customer solutions. Ant Packaging is hiring team members for inbound/outbound operations, packing, and loading goods. You’ll receive training in production machine operations and work rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts. 24 hours per week – Overtime is available.

• Receiving, sorting and dispatching goods.
• Picking & packing.
• Loading and unloading trucks & containers.
• Responsible for maintaining a neat and organised packing area.
• Inspection of incoming & outgoing goods.
• Adhere to all Australian workplace health and safety requirements and any site and job-specific safety policies and protocols.
• Able to understand detailed instructions and work from procedures.

About You

We are looking for team members who have experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution setting and who can join and complement our current team. You will possess the following skills:

• A forklift licence is preferred.
• Good English language proficiency.
• Attention to detail with accurate reading and numeracy skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Good communication skills.
• Be fit and reliable – some heavy lifting is involved.
• Good time management & organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
