Cellar Door Supervisor – Audrey Wilkinson

Summary:

Perched on the foothills of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley and overlooking our historic vineyard, the Audrey Wilkinson Cellar Door is renowned as much for the breathtaking views as it is our award-winning wines and legendary visitor experience.

We are looking for individuals with natural customer service skills and experience in a hospitality based supervisory role to assist in the day-to-day running of the cellar door.

This is a role which would suit someone in the tourism, hospitality and/or other customer service focused industry looking to make a change.

Previous wine industry or cellar door experience is not essential, though well-regarded.

Responsibilities:

The Cellar Door Supervisor will help lead our enthusiastic cellar door team in their day-to-day delivery of our wine tasting experiences, ensuring exceptional customer service.

They will assist and support the Cellar Door Manager in the management and operation of the cellar door, including undertaking open and close procedures, end of day reconciliations, staff management, reservations management, as required.

Cellar Door Supervisors will also regularly have the responsibility for running the cellar door unsupervised.

It is a fundamental requirement for this role that individuals are available to work on weekends, on a rostered basis.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Natural customer service skills.

• Experience in a supervisory role within the wine, tourism and/or hospitality industries.

• Experience and proficiency in hospitality open and close procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.

• Prior experience with Commerce7 and/or Rezdy highly desirable.

• Must be able to regularly work weekends and holidays.
