Parts Manager

AFGRI Equipment has a rare opportunity for a Parts Manager to join our Wongan Hills team. We are a market leader in agricultural equipment, and one of WA’s largest John Deere dealers.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing parts operations within the dealership to maximise return on investment through parts and sales, inventory control and expense control. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service skills and experience in a high paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining effective Parts Department processes
• Create marketing plans with the Parts Department, setting goals and the departmental budget
• Ordering stock to maintain spare parts inventory
• Manage, train, and supervise the parts team
• Prepare, organise and co-ordinate yearly parts stock take
• Oversee and submit parts warranty and return claims
• Interpret customer requirements accurately
• Maintain all department tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Carry out any other duties as requested by your Manager

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role is highly regarded
• Ability to lead with strong organisation skills
• Experience in training and managing a team
• Demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines and to work under pressure
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Well versed in Microsoft Office programs
