[TEST] Warehouse Operator

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse within the utilities sector. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth handling of materials and support our commitment to delivering high-quality services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly.
• Prepare and dispatch orders in a timely manner, following company procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist in regular stocktaking and inventory audits.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery, with training provided as necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items safely.
