Passive Fire Technician

Skill requirements:

• Plastering techniques: perform fire sealing of service penetrations, including mastic application, and install batts, wraps, fire-rated enclosures, and collars.
• Tool proficiency: Using trowels for leveling, smoothing, and creating smooth finishes.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in passive fire protection systems preferred
• Document your work with photos and adhere to our company processes.
• Safety: Following site safety procedures and being comfortable working at heights.
• Other skills: Time management, teamwork, and the ability to work well under pressure
• Hardworking, reliable, has good communication, time management and organisational skills.
• The ability to follow company policies and procedures at all times and ensure safety and adherence to OH&S is a priority.
• Experience or a strong interest in passive fire systems.
• Current White card.
• Current driver’s licence preferred.

Job description:

• Install passive fire systems in compliance with Australian Standards.
• Installation firestopping solutions in wall and floor penetrations (pipe, cabling, ducts etc.)
• Perform fire sealing of service penetrations, including mastic application, and install batts, wraps, fire-rated enclosures, and collars.
