We’re expanding our Engineering team and are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help design and bring to life our next generation of passive radar and sensor systems.

This is more than just a design role — it’s a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to work from concept through to manufacture and assembly. • Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials
  • Bring designs to life — from proof-of-concept through to prototype and final product
  • Support the manufacturing process: material selection, finishes, tolerance control, and supplier liaison
  • Tackle real-world engineering problems through hands-on build, assembly, and testing
  • Maintain configuration control and detailed design documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers and support collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in design standards, processes, and tools

What you bring

  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in a similar mechanical engineering role, ideally within high-tech or defence sectors
  • Proficiency in CAD software and detailed design documentation
  • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assembly
  • Hands-on capability to build, test, and iterate on physical components
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
  • A passion for quality, innovation, and collaboration
