Salary: £25,000

Location: Unit 1, Bardner Bank, Killinghall, Harrogate, HG3 2SP

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant!

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented and organised individual who is looking to join a growing company and a dynamic 5-person marketing team.

Your main responsibility as our Marketing Assistant will be to support both B2B and B2C sectors. Assist the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executives with website, email, and social media campaigns, including content creation and video ideas. Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to produce and edit marketing materials in line with brand guidelines and support internal design requests.

What are we looking for in our Marketing Assistant?

• Be able to think outside the box and come up with creative ways to continue to increase online growth and generate leads.

What does the Marketing Assistant actually do?

• Handle internal design requests across B2B and B2C, including brochures, stationery, adverts, presentations, and company literature.

• Assist the Graphic Designer with concept development, ad hoc design, and product launch collateral.

• Contribute to digital marketing efforts, including website (CMS/ecommerce) updates, content creation, and coordination with external agencies.

• Create and edit videos and imagery for social media, website, and digital campaigns.

• Manage and monitor social media channels; conduct competitor research and develop engaging content.

• Execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional emails.

• Support YouTube channel, Google listings, and customer review growth.

• Promote digital webinars and manage brand presence on partner/industry websites.

• Produce monthly performance reports for web, email, and social media.

• Assist with planning and executing events, exhibitions, and product launches.

• Coordinate award entries, liaising with departments and third parties.

• Lead marketing activities in collaboration with Harrogate Town Football Club.

• Capture and edit video and photography for internal/external use.

• Provide design direction, review print materials, and manage project deadlines.

• Liaise with marketing agencies, printers, and promotional suppliers.

• Perform general marketing administrative tasks as needed.
