Are you an experienced Welder looking for a rewarding career? Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of marine services to Defence and commercial operators, is seeking skilled Welders to join our growing team.

We have opportunities available in Henderson (WA), Sydney (NSW), Darwin (NT), and Cairns (QLD).

As a Welder, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing blueprints and specifications to grasp job requirements.

• Selecting, cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal for welding.

• Lining up parts accurately before joining.

• Welding metal sections together using various techniques.

• Inspecting welds for quality and precision.

• Cleaning, polishing, and smoothing welds.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A strong ability to read technical drawings.

• At least 2 years of welding experience with adaptability.

• A Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Welder.

• A solid understanding of safety protocols and PPE.

• A current driver’s license with reliable transport.

• The ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

• Excellent teamwork skills.

• An OHS Construction Induction White Card.

Desirable (but not mandatory) requirements include Confined Space Entry, Fire Sentry Training, and Working at Heights certification.

The salary for this position is $74,000 – $90,000 per year (dependent on your skills and experience).
