Camm Agricultural Group (CAG) began operations in 1994, though the Camm family’s involvement in Australia’s cropping and beef industries spans four generations.
Founded by David and Judith Camm, alongside their children, the business evolved from family agricultural operations into a vertically integrated model covering breeding, backgrounding, finishing, and cropping across Queensland.
Strategic expansion across multiple regions and markets has built diversity and resilience to industry fluctuations. The group’s extensive feedlot operation in southern Queensland, established in 1972, remains one of Australia’s longest-running. Its flagship, the 21,000 SCU ‘Wonga Plains’ feedlot, is recognized for industry leadership and strong cattle performance.
Today, CAG is a major beef producer, managing over 450,000Ha of prime agricultural land and turning off approximately 40,000 head per year. With a growing presence in cropping, cattle production, and feedlotting, the business generates an annual turnover exceeding $70M.
