Axil Coffee Roasters is a leading specialty coffee roastery and café that was established in 2011 in Hawthorn.

We have multiple locations across Victoria, including Melbourne Airport, Chadstone Shopping Centre, Melbourne Central, Richmond and several other locations in the CBD.

Home to the 2022 World Barista Champion Anthony Douglas and back to back Australian Barista Champion Jack Simpson, we pride ourselves on building a great place to work and fostering talent and development.

We are on the hunt for an experienced barista for one of our CBD store locations.

Applicants must have previous experience in specialty coffee and a big passion for good food. Support, training and career progression is available for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who has:

Motivation to take ownership of the position
A key eye for detail
The desire to build and maintain a high-performing, well-rounded team
A customer-centric approach
Experience using a wide range of coffee making equipment including; La Marzocco GB5, Mazzer Rober S, Mahlkonig E65s GBW, Mahlkonig EK43s and Ubermilk
A desire to continuously learn, grow and progress within the company
Be a team player who is happy to jump in and help in other areas of the café as required

Your day to day will include:
