What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers and Mentors who share our values and commitment to making a positive impact. If you have a caring nature, excellent communication skills, and a desire to support others in their personal and professional journeys, we’d love to hear from you.
We would love a support worker who is versatile, confident in working independently, has life experience with Disability and mental health, and meets the following criteria:
- Minimum 15 hours per week availability
- Availability for overnights as well as short support shifts
- Manual handling experience
- SIL (Supported Independent Living) house experience (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years in the industry (preferred)
What you need:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – ‘Quality, Safety and You’
- Manual Handling Certificate
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current driver’s license
- A reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance (for community support you are required to transport clients in your vehicle)
- Reliable smart phone with data
- Certificate III Individual Supports or any Social Community Qualifications preferred but not essential
- Willingness to engage in further learning & development
- Other requirements may be required based on your level of experience.
