Main Responsibilities would include;

• Providing bookkeeping & payroll services to a range of clients.

• Reconciliation and payment of superannuation.

• Bank transaction reconciliation.

• Prepare monthly BAS/IAS and Quarterly BAS’s.

• Provide other general assistance to our accountants.

• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the bookkeeping team.

• Acting as a dedicated account manager & point of contact for clients.

About You – Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks/Xero & MYOB

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

  • Payroll and BAS Experience are essential for this role

The Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping in Australia or relevant qualifications.

• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Ability to pass a functional pre-employ medical including drug and alcohol screen

• Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence

• Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months

• Be health, safety and environmentally conscious

• The ability to make practical decisions under pressure

  • Payroll and BAS Experience are essential for this role
