Electrical Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to join Waterline. You’ll work across the full asset lifecycle, delivering compliant, practical, and high-quality solutions to leading Australian industry clients. This role combines technical design, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement—offering a unique opportunity to influence real-world operations and contribute to safe, sustainable outcomes. You’ll also take part in site-based work, business development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review electrical designs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and client specifications
• Lead or contribute to project delivery, including scope development, estimating, scheduling, and client liaison
• Conduct site visits to support audits, compliance checks, and commissioning activities
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development through meetings and project scoping
• Track time and progress accurately, participate in continuous improvement, and support internal reporting requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
• 3+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally within heavy industry or resources
• Proficiency with tools such as PTW or PowerCAD; knowledge of compliance and hazardous area design desirable
• Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder coordination skills
