The Opportunity
Are you energetic, driven, and ready to take on a dynamic role in merchandising? We’re looking for a positive individual to join our VIC sales team! This full-time position services Bunnings stores across the North Melbourne area.
As a Merchandiser, you’ll play a vital role in showcasing our product ranges and those of our business partners, ensuring that each brand is represented to the highest standard. You’ll be responsible for executing store relays, supporting new store setups, and building strong relationships with store staff. Some fortnightly overnight regional travel may be required, adding a little variety and adventure to your role!
About You
To shine in this role, you’ll have:
- Successful experience in merchandising and a passion for delivering superior customer service
- A driven and resilient ‘self-starter’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A positive ‘can-do’ approach to your day
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
- Physical fitness, including the ability to undertake some heavy lifting
- A current driver’s licence
- Previous experience in Bunnings (highly regarded)
Whether you’re an experienced merchandiser or someone looking to launch a career in the hardware industry, this role offers the perfect blend of opportunity and challenge. Previous experience in retail or hardware is a bonus, but full training will be provided to set you up for success.
