Port Melbourne

TUESDAY: 10am-2pm, FRIDAY:12:30pm-4:30pm, SATURDAY: 10am-2pm

The Role

We are looking for a Greek Speaking Support Worker to join the team to provide a variety of supports to people with a disability. You will aid with all aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic care, social and community participation, and transportation.

Our client is looking for an engaging, fun and bubbly Support Worker, who is great with encouraging their clients whilst working towards their NDIS Goals. Due to the unique requirements of this client, we are seeking FEMALE applicants only for this position.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Good documentation & reporting skills

• An out-going, positive and interactive attitude

• Initiative to advocate for your clients to ensure the best level of care is provided

• Relevant Qualifications in this Industry is desirable

• The ability to be flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.

• Know how to organise and action daily tasks and schedules

• The ability to work under limited supervision

• Reliability

• Greek Speaking essential

Experience:

• Experience within the care sector is required

• Supporting individual with Behaviour of Concern is highly desirable

• Professional/Personal experience in disability a must

• Manual handling and Medication experience desirable or willing to receive training

• NDIS VIC Worker Screening

• Current CPR & First Aid Certificates
