The Country Club St Georges Basin is located just 20 minutes south of Nowra and minutes away from the beautiful white beaches and surrounds of Jervis Bay. We have a great Membership base and some of the best facilities in the area, The Country Club prides itself on being the Premier Club on the South Coast.

We have an opportunity available for an experienced, passionate and highly driven Chef or ambitious Cooks looking to take a step up to drive our kitchen and produce the best dining option in the area. With a state of the art kitchen and a supportive Management Team, the opportunity awaits for you to make your mark.

ABOUT YOU

As a self-motivated, passionate and driven Cook or Chef you will possess the following skills, experience & attributes:

Previous experience as a Cook or Chef with a strong work ethic

Desire & ability to work productively with our Catering Manager

Experience in a high paced, high volume kitchen

Confident in managing a large, diverse brigade

Relevant trade qualifications & FSS certification.

Excellent communication, interpersonal & organisational skills

High level of personal presentation

Team player that leads by example and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty

High food standards in both quality and presentation

Clear understanding of Food Safety guidelines

Ability to put forward innovative and creative food ideas for our seasonal menu & daily specials

Strong attention to detail

Focused on delivering the best experience for all of our patrons, both members & visitors alike

Flexible and able to work a range of shifts across days, evenings and weekends.
