The Opportunity:

SCCC are seeking a Rostering & Payroll Coordinator on a temporary basis to support our dedicated team in delivering high-quality care to our residents

This is a dynamic and integral position, providing support across rostering, payroll, and HR coordination. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you’ll work closely with our team ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Rostering:

  • Create and maintain staff rosters (in our rostering system CareSystems) to meet operational and care requirements.
  • Manage employee leave requests and schedule staff meetings, training, and development sessions.
  • Coordinate agency staff as needed and fill any roster gaps promptly.

Payroll

  • Prepare and process fortnightly payroll in accordance with legislation and internal policies.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage financial databases related to payroll and staff entitlements.

HR Support

  • Assist with timesheet approvals to ensure timely payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with HR to address staff-related matters and queries.
  • Support ad hoc administrative tasks as delegated by the Facility Manager.

What you’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a rostering and payroll coordinator role within a highly regulated aged care environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in using CareSystems.
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail, and able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic care environment
  • Confident using technology, to support compliance.
