About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Mobile Plant Fitter to join our in-house Maintenance Team. Based at our Epping site, you will work across a range of fixed and mobile plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.

This is a permanent, full-time afternoon shift position Sunday to Thursday with guarantee of 10-hour days, however you will initially be inducted on day shift for the first 5 – 6 weeks before transition into afternoon shift.

Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Perform minor and major repairs on mobile plant and fixed plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.

– Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are roadworthy

– Carry out regular preventative maintenance on vehicles, mobile plant, and fixed plant machinery

– Service all mobile plant and fixed plant machinery and vehicles as per the scheduled program

– Follow safe operation procedures and report any damage or loss

– Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

– Report vehicle breakdowns or unavailability to Manager

– Complete all paperwork for all repairs or services

About You

– Diesel mechanic/mobile plant fitter qualification (or equivalent)

– 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

– Own tools required (up to ½ inch) specialist tools provided

– Valid driver’s license

– Willingness to complete pre-employment checks (national police check, medical, etc.)

– Flexibility to work overtime and outside regular hours as needed
