Description

PLI (Powerlift Industries) is a Karratha, Pilbara based leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries, expanding business.

We require Coded Welders to join our team for a Shutdown at Cape Lambert from 26 May – 3 June March 2025.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures
  • Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components
  • Remove tack welds, clean and restore weld preparations where required
  • Solid understanding of current Australian Welding Standards.
  • Welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW and Arc air gouging.
  • Coded to 3G and 1-4F

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will need to satisfy the following criteria:

  • Australian recognised trade certificate (mandatory)
  • Ability to pass weld tests 3G and 1-4F
  • Proof of right to work in Australia (mandatory)
  • Current and valid Australian drivers licence (mandatory)
  • MSIC (highly desirable)
  • Fire Training (highly desirable)
  • White Card (desirable)
  • Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
