ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Developer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Microsoft 365 BC) to support our business transformation (integration of the Peacock Group collective) and operational efficiency efforts. This role combines functional analysis, process improvement, and technical development to enhance and optimize our ERP ecosystem.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Analysis & Solution Design:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Design and propose solutions aligned with Business Central’s capabilities and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
System Configuration & Development:
- Customize and extend Business Central using AL, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and workflows using Power BI, Power Automate, and Business Central extensions.
- Integrate Business Central with third-party applications and services via APIs and web services.
Implementation & Support:
- Lead or support ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and deliver system training.
- Collaborate with users to ensure adoption and efficiency of Business Central solutions.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Knowledge and Experience
- Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proficiency in AL language, extensions development, and system customization.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps).
- Experience in SQL, Azure services, and API integrations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and Agile project management principles.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or financial operations within Business Central.
Qualifications and Education
- Tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology related field
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.
- BC/NAV architecture, security configurations, and reporting tools.
