Skills:

– Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

– Current First Aid and CPR certifications

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

– Strong understanding of child development principles

Responsibilities:

– Engage with children in meaningful learning activities that promote their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development

– Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore, learn, and grow

– Collaborate with other educators to plan and implement educational programs that meet the individual needs of each child

– Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child’s development

– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for early childhood education

Qualifications:

– Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)

– Current Working with Children Check

– Minimum 1 year experience working in an early childhood education setting
