About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our ceiling lifter installation projects. This role is responsible for developing business and preparing accurate estimates for tenders and projects across hospitals, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), residential, and aged care facilities. You will collaborate closely with our operations team and clients to ensure successful quoting and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and take ownership of our Molift Rail Systems portfolio.
  • Drive business development by engaging with key stakeholders and identifying new opportunities.
  • Review project documentation, specifications, and plans to develop detailed scopes of work.
  • Analyse and interpret client-supplied documentation and requirements.
  • Utilise Estimate 1 to track and pursue potential projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for ceiling lifter installations, including materials, labor, and equipment, both internally and for our preferred dealer partners.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to confirm pricing and scheduling.
  • Convert estimates into detailed project budgets for seamless operational execution.
  • Conduct handover meetings with the installations team, providing thorough project documentation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Follow up on tender submissions and maintain necessary records.
  • Perform administrative duties related to project management as required.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in healthcare, aged care, or SDA fitouts.
  • Proficiency in Estimate 1, Cordells, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of ceiling lifter installation requirements and associated construction processes.
