Do you want a job that makes a difference every single day? NAAJA is on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Client Services Officer (CSO) to join our Civil Law team.

You’ll be the crucial link between Aboriginal clients and our legal services—helping people navigate challenging legal systems in areas like child protection, police accountability, and victims of crime assistance. This is not your average admin job. It’s people-first, community-driven work that takes you to some of the most unique and culturally significant places in the Territory.

What You’ll Do:

🤝 Support Aboriginal clients to engage with civil lawyers in a culturally safe, respectful way

🚐 Organise and attend remote legal clinics—managing travel, bookings, schedules, and logistics

🗂 Keep accurate records and update client data in our management systems

📝 Assist the Civil Law team with legal document preparation and admin support

📞 Provide phone and in-person client support that’s sensitive, responsive, and professional

What We’re Looking For (selection criteria):

• Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal people

• A passion for client service and social justice

• Clear and culturally appropriate communication skills

• Strong admin and computer skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, meaningful role

Other essentials:

• Willingness to travel and stay overnight in remote communities

• Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
