Support Worker – High Physical Support | In-Home NDIS Client (Pemulwuy, NSW)
Montessori Care is seeking experienced and compassionate female support workers (participant preference) to join a care team supporting a bedbound NDIS participant in Pemulwuy, Western Sydney.

About the Role:
As a support worker with Montessori Care, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, in-home support to an NDIS participant with high physical care needs. This role involves a combination of personal care, emotional support, and domestic assistance, with a focus on maintaining the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of the client.
You’ll be supporting a bedbound participant who requires full assistance with all activities of daily living. Key areas of focus include hygiene, continence care, skin integrity, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment. You will also provide companionship, help establish routine, and offer respectful support that promotes comfort and quality of life.
The participant resides in a modern, well-equipped home with appropriate equipment such as a hospital bed, hoist, and rolling aids. You’ll be working closely with a care coordination team and a family who values professionalism, consistency, and communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- Female support workers (participant preference)
- Experience supporting clients with high physical care needs or who are bedbound
- Confident delivering personal care and hygiene routines
- Trained or experienced in manual handling, including hoist use
- Calm, reliable, and emotionally mature
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling training (or willingness to complete it)
