The Opportunity

The LJ Hooker Group is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about real estate, growth, and recruitment, this could be the perfect role for you. Based in Queensland, this position will focus on strengthening our existing franchise network and expanding our footprint by attracting high-quality franchise offices to join the LJ Hooker family.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the LJ Hooker Group’s Recruitment, Marketing and Operations teams. As part of the Recruitment team, you will play a key role in driving the future growth of the LJ Hooker network across Australia.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the ongoing development of LJ Hooker’s strategic growth plans, with a focus on identifying new business opportunities in key markets. You will work in close partnership with our Recruitment, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive expansion and manage growth. Your role will be pivotal in promoting the benefits of the LJ Hooker offering to potential franchisees, helping us grow and strengthen our network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities in available markets.

• Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new franchise offices.

• Develop and execute strategies to strengthen and expand the LJ Hooker franchise network.

• Work collaboratively with Marketing and Operations teams to support strategic growth initiatives.

• Present the LJ Hooker offering to potential franchisees through engaging presentations and negotiations.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in business development, recruitment, or franchise management.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving key business objectives.

• Experience working in or around the real estate industry would be highly advantageous.
