The Opportunity

The opportunity has arisen for an energetic and dependable individual to join our Grading Team.  As a part of this Team, you will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Grading and packing eggs by working on a process machine;
  • Repetitive lifting up to 15kg;
  • Safe handling of eggs;
  • Egg quality control;
  • Cleaning of grading equipment;
  • Monitoring packed egg quality;
  • Assessing production requirements;
  • Communicating within and without the Grading Team;
  • Stocktake and packaging replenishment; and
  • Recording and reviewing grading data.

The basic details:

  • Small Team;
  • Highly physical role with repetitive tasks and lifting;
  • On your feet for long periods of time;
  • Casual, with relatively stable roster;
  • Day Shifts only;
  • Shift length around 10hrs with variance for the needs of the business (typically 7am – 5pm);
  • Flexibility of finish times required with varying work loads, must have availability;
  • Approximately 3 days per week (Monday – Wednesday;
  • Farm is located in Monegeetta, Victoria.

As this is a manual role a pre-employment screen, inclusive of a drug test, is required as part of the recruitment process.

Skills and experience that would be advantageous:

  • Production line and/or warehouse experience is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train the right person.
