Senior Test Analyst (Salesforce, API testing experience) – DCS

Purpose of this position:

The Senior Test Analyst ensures the quality, functionality and reliability of the products/technologies being tested. They are in charge of the test planning, design and execution of test cases and scenarios based on requirements. They play a key role in quality assurance and ensuring that our technologies work efficiently and meet the standards required to function effectively.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

o More than 5 years’ experience

o Ability to create and structure test cases using tools such as Zephyr, Excel.

o Experience with testing SAAS applications (Salesforce)

o Data validation testing including ability to confirm results of calculations and algorithms

o Proactive, self-starter capabilities – noting this is the tester for the project.

o Ability to report regular test status, and represent testing progress at stand-ups

o Ability to plan, capture tests and demonstrate coverage across the requirements and acceptance criteria.

Test Planning & Execution

Creation of Test Plans and Test Summary Reports

Creation of Test Scenarios and Test Cases

Test Execution along with following the defined defect lifecycle.

Documenting the test results and producing the required testing reports

Selection criteria

Mandatory:

• Salesforce experience, including console and portals

• Jira usage experience

• API testing with Postman

• DB validation, calculation and SQL skills

• MS products such as Excel, MS Teams.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

5+ Years of experience as tester

ISTQB Certification (Desirable)

Test Automation experience (Desirable)
