An excellent opportunity is available for a driven and experienced Bid Advisor to join our accomplished national Business Development and Marketing team. The role will work closely with senior business development team members and subject matter experts to deliver compelling, high quality legal tenders, proposals and capability statements. Reporting into the Senior Business Development Manager, this role is initially a full-time 12-month fixed term contract, however part-time hours may be considered.
The ideal candidate will be confident in persuasive writing and skilled at prioritising bids across multiple practice groups and offices. In this fast-paced role you will be drafting, proofing and coordinating the delivery of bids that are tailored to client needs. Your energy, excellent writing, project management and stakeholder engagement skills will see you succeed in this role and integrate into a cohesive, high performing team.
The HopgoodGanim Business Development and Marketing team is recognised by the partnership for the high value they deliver and enjoys working directly with the business to deliver real results – all the while keeping respectable working hours. The team is a mix of senior BD and Marketing professionals and those newer to the profession. Our common goal is to deliver exceptional BD and Marketing outcomes.
Ideally you will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
- Solid experience supporting bids, proposal writing, marketing communications, or a related role within a professional services environment (ideally legal or accounting).
- A strong understanding of the principles of effective bid writing and proposal development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional editing and proofreading abilities.
- The ability to synthesise complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Team oriented and a confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally design software (Indesign and Canva).
