Job Title: Application Developer

Location: Hybrid – Melbourne (3 days in office (Tues/Wed/Thurs), 2 wfh (Mon/Fri)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our technology team in Melbourne, Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field, along with 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare or tech industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, as well as front-end technologies like JavaScript. Strong logic capabilities and the ability to manage technical and business process complexity are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain scalable applications using PHP web frameworks including Laravel

– Utilise front-end technologies such as JavaScript to enhance user experience

– Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring project deadlines are met

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

– Proactively solve problems and identify opportunities for improvement

Skills:

– 2+ years of experience in a similar Application Developer role within the healthcare or tech industry

– Proficiency in PHP web frameworks such as Laravel

– Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript

– Familiarity with SQL databases

– Ability to project manage multiple tasks at once

– Excellent problem-solving skills

– Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

Experience creating scalable applications

High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, personal responsibility, ownership

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
