As an intern at Trellis Data, you will be immersed in real-world projects, working closely with our experienced team of AI researchers, developers, and programmers. The internship is designed to give you exposure to industry-leading machine learning technologies and practices, while contributing to impactful solutions that push the boundaries of artificial intelligence as you gain invaluable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with senior developers on machine learning projects.
· Assist in the development, testing, and optimization of AI models and algorithms.
· Work closely with the Research Team to assist in developing and testing machine learning models and AI capabilities across ML Research Labs.
· Document research findings, experiments, and methodologies.
· Design and execute experiments, analyzing results to improve models.
· Learning the basics of machine learning to communicate effectively with the research team.
· Facilitating professional and effective communication across different teams within the organisation, particularly with those responsible for integrating insights into products and systems.
· Continuously learn and apply new AI and machine learning techniques.
· Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
· Assist in refining product prototypes and conducting rigorous testing for performance.
· All other duties as required to support the Research Team and the Product Team’s objectives.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI Research, or related IT discipline.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
• Passion for machine learning, AI, and technology.
