Your new role
You will join our Carpentry division, who have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Carpenter looking to complete their apprenticeship.
This full-time position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience and grow your skills across all areas of carpentry, by assisting with the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures, as well as ensuring a safe and organised work environment.

You will:
• Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials.
• Help with the installation of fences, frames, play forts and other fixtures.
• Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
• Prepare job sites by setting up tools, materials, and equipment.
• Attend training sessions and actively participate in learning opportunities.
• Develop knowledge of carpentry techniques, safety standards, and tools.
• Repot any hazard, incident, or unsafe practice to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Handle tools and equipment properly, ensuring they are in good working condition.
About you
This role would be perfect for someone who is passionate about the Carpentry industry who is eager to be mentored by and work alongside a team of skilled Carpenters working on exciting and meaningful projects.
To be considered for this role you will:
• Currently be undertaking a Cert III in Carpentry (essential).
• Have experience in framing, decks and pergolas.
• Have a keen eye for detail and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
• Be able to perform manual labour tasks, with a strong physical fitness.
• Have the ability to show initiative and take action when required.
• Have experience being an all-round team player with an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Hold a current driver’s license and have your own vehicle – You must be willing to travel.
• Have a white card and full Australian work rights.
• Have a police and working with children’s check or be willing to obtain.
