Employment Type: Casual, Onsite (15 hours per week)

Pay Rate: $35 per hour

We are looking for a Grounds & Maintenance Officer with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring the upkeep of our senior rental village in Eagleby, QLD.

About the Role

As a Grounds & Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our village grounds and facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. You’ll work closely with village management, residents, and contractors to provide excellent service in:

  • Gardening, landscaping, and lawn maintenance
  • General maintenance and handyman tasks
  • Cleaning and upkeep of common areas
  • Identifying and reporting repairs or hazards
  • Supporting the safety and well-being of residents

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who is reliable, hands-on, and enjoys creating a positive living environment for seniors.

• A strong and dependable work ethic

• Previous experience in general maintenance, gardening, and handyman tasks

• Knowledge of workplace health & safety (WHS) requirements

• Ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and external contractors

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
