THE ROLE:

Role: Motor Mechanic

Location: Sunshine West, VIC

Employment: Permanent Full Time

SUMMARY:

As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on a wide variety of vehicles and machinery. You will work to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition and provide excellent service to our customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality mechanical services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use cutting-edge computer diagnostic tools to identify problems

• Seek out affordable and necessary solutions for all customers

• Work with a constant stream of vehicles that need maintenance and repairs.

• Diagnose vehicles with signs and symptoms

• Configure suitable and applicable solutions in a timely manner

• Vehicle registration and inspections

• General servicing and mechanical repairs

• Build solid foundations for company structures, programs, tools and equipment

• Follow Cornell & Manufacturer Repair times and retail standards

ABOUT YOU:

• Minimum 2 years diesel experience

• Essential diagnostic experience

• Ability to identify and repair technical issues

• Time management and efficiency

• Good communication

• Ability to work productively and autonomously

• Highly motivated and well-driven

• Excellent written and report writing skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Motor Mechanic (General and/or Diesel)

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
