We are a hybrid telehealth model, where our patients are supported by our on the ground clinic staff, linking our patients to dermatologists via telehealth. Patients are able to access specialist dermatologists via telehealth while receiving specialist treatments and support on their skin journey from our dermal therapists in a location close to home. We currently have clinics in New South Wales and Victoria.
Our busy Parramatta clinic is expanding and looking for a full time dermal administration officer to join our team to support our patients through their journey with our dermatologists.
ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity is available in a medical administration role to help our dermatologists support patients with eczema, psoriasis & vitiligo.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for these patients in their lifelong journey with our clinic.
DUTIES
Reporting directly to the Clinic Manager, your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Ensuring a professional point of contact for all patients, helping them on their journey with our clinic
- Communicating with specialists to facilitate patient care programs
- Providing information regarding home care packs and treatment pathways to patients
- Treating patients with UVB phototherapy using the dermatologist prescribed settings
- Answering patient enquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
- Medicare batching
- End of day balancing
- Ensuring the clinic is well presented, clean and tidy at all times
- Reviewing and sending letters to GPs
- Following up with patients regularly to ensure that they compliant with their prescribed treatment plan
- Ensuring high quality of care is delivered to all patients
- Providing a high level of assistance and communication to patients
- Working collectively towards company goals, and individually towards patient goals
- Local outreach and public engagement activities to spread the word about what we do and how we can help.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous medical administration experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong commitment to patients and outcomes
- A desire to help people with the management of their condition long term
- A strong commitment to business objectives, and flexibility in work hours to achieve best outcomes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks well
