Located just minutes from Macquarie Park Metro station, our hotel caters to a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a designated kitchen section with minimal supervision. Ensure timely preparation and service of dishes.

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, dietary needs, and hotel standards.

• Supervise and support Commis, Demi Chefs and Cooks. Provide on-the-job training and guidance.

• Help to develop new menu items and recipes.

• Adhere to HACCP guidelines, food safety and cleanliness standards. Maintain a safe and hygienic workstation.

• Monitor food stock levels, report shortages and assist with ordering and stock rotation.

• Minimise waste, support local sourcing initiatives and adhere to the hotel’s environmental policies.

• Work closely with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef and service team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Assist with the planning and execution of special events and catering functions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen.
• Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
