This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and energetic State Manager to lead a high performing and successful team.
The Role
The State Manager is responsible for the success and growth of our New South Wales membership and our business performance. Success is defined by your ability to provide outstanding support to our members, to lead and develop our NSW based team in addition to applying our sales process to grow the business and exceed sales targets. It’s an exciting, multifaceted role that requires expertise to generate sales, lead the team and build relationships to ensure exceptional service support for our membership.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
• Lead the team in alignment with company strategy and values.
• Actively engage within the broking industry and member community (including members and lenders) to develop strong stakeholder relationships.
• Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional service and support to our members.
• Drive member acquisition activity and sales activity of Connective’s ancillary products.
• Attend and actively participate in Professional Development, Sales and Network events.
• Identify opportunities to enable member success through our Connective product and service offerings.
• Ensure the smooth onboarding of new members through liaison with support teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing team on campaigns and act as the conduit for industry information.
The Person
As a passionate and experienced sales professional, you will be structured, self-motivated and exceptional at relationship building. You are also an experienced people leader who understands the value of coaching to deliver operational excellence, outstanding service and performance results.
You will also have:
• Experience within the mortgage broking, third party banking or finance industry in the Australian market.
• Strong influencing skills and sales capability with demonstrated experience in new business and cross-selling.
• Experience in delivering sales outcomes along with very strong relationship management skills and team leadership as hallmarks of your success.
• Innovative problem solving, analytical skills and ability to interpret/report on sales data.
• Valid Australian drivers licence and own transport.
