Join Our Passionate Team at Hazelwood ECC – Opportunities for Certificate 3 and Diploma Educators.
Are you an educator with a true passion for working with infants and toddlers? Do you believe the first three years of life are crucial for a child’s development and deserve the highest care and education? If so, Hazelwood Early Childhood Centre is the perfect place for you!
About Us:
Hazelwood ECC is part of Connect Children and Families.
At Hazelwood ECC we have recently transitioned to specialise in providing education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. At 3 years children then transition to Connect’s Possum ECC, which specialise in education and care for children aged 3-5 years.
We are committed to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. We focus on the most important early years of development, creating a nurturing, respectful environment where infants and toddlers are encouraged to grow, explore, and develop with confidence. Our educators build strong relationships with children and design purpose-driven spaces that promote independence, curiosity, and holistic development from the moment our youngest learners enter the door.
We achieve this through strong family partnerships and evidence-based practices, including Circle of Security Classrooms, Brain SET design, and The Family Partnership Model. In addition to this solid foundation, we are engaging in practitioner research to develop a unique pedagogy specifically tailored for children under three.
What We Offer:
- A supportive, warm, and inclusive team environment
- The opportunity to work closely with infants and toddlers in a purpose-designed space
- Ongoing professional development (including leadership) and engagement in practitioner research focused on the needs of this age group
- A workplace committed to evidence-based best practices in early childhood development
- Competitive salary, conditions, and additional well-being leave
