Description

Community Accessibility is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from dedicated Support Workers and Peer Support Workers with lived experience to deliver impactful outreach-based programs across Melton and surrounding areas.

We specialise in supporting NDIS participants with mental health, psychosocial disabilities, addiction recovery, and justice-involved experiences. We’re looking for flexible, compassionate, and community-minded individuals ready to make a real difference.

Opportunities include facilitating programs in:

– Life Skills Development (budgeting, home skills, routine building)

– Cooking & Nutrition

– Mental Health & Wellbeing (mindfulness, emotional regulation)

– Empowerment & Identity (women’s groups, peer recovery, self-esteem)

– Employment Readiness & Confidence Coaching

– Community Excursions & Local Engagement

Who we’re looking for:

– Individuals with lived experience (mental health, disability, addiction, justice)

– Qualified or experienced Disability Support Workers

– Peer Workers with recovery knowledge and empathy

– Those confident to lead group sessions or provide 1:1 outreach

About you:

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

• Current and clear Working with Children Check

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Basic computer skills
