Job Title:
Jeweller
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and inspect raw precious metal castings, identifying any imperfections or irregularities that may affect the finished piece.
• Skillfully polish and buff castings to achieve a flawless, radiant surface finish, employing various techniques and tools.
• Assemble and set gemstones or other embellishments onto castings with meticulous precision, adhering to design specifications and ensuring secure placements (only if applicable)
• Collaborate with design and production teams to understand and execute the required finishing techniques and assembly processes.
• Employ a range of specialized tools and equipment, such as polishing wheels, ultrasonic cleaners, and precision hand tools, to achieve the desired results.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that tools and materials are properly cared for and stored.
• Continuously uphold the brand’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship, delivering consistent and exceptional work.
• Contribute to process improvements and innovative techniques in cleaning, polishing, and assembly methods to enhance overall efficiency and product excellence.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in working with precious metals, particularly in cleaning, polishing, and assembling jewelry castings.
Knowledge of different polishing compounds, abrasives, and techniques to achieve specific finishes.
Previous experience using various jewelry crafting tools and equipment, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and finesset.
Ability to read and interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Adherence to safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
