Role Overview:
The Hydraulics Project Engineer plays a crucial role at CC Pines by designing hydraulic systems, performing project engineering duties and achieving quality assurance during installations at various construction sites. This unique role requires a blend of innovation in hydraulic design and practical problem-solving in real-world construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed hydraulic designs and specifications tailored for construction equipment and operations.
Manage procurement of hydraulics discipline including supply and subcontract packages.
Assist the installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems on site, ensuring they meet project specifications and Australian Standards.
Ensuring quality of works during installation of hydraulics systems on site. Ensure all hydraulics installations comply with Australian local, state, and federal regulations, industry safety standards and project specifications.
Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to align hydraulics systems with overall project goals.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field with a focus on hydraulics (accredited by Engineers Australia if acquired overseas).
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in hydraulics engineering, including minimum of 5 years in Australia, specifically in a construction site setting.
Proficient in using CAD software and other hydraulics design tools.
Strong understanding of the latest hydraulics standards and safety regulations in Australia.
Maturity and aptitude to manage own workload, key internal and external relationships and a proven record of working on challenging, time-critical projects.
