About the Role
ACS is seeking a dynamic and organised Member Services and Event Coordinator to join our Canberra Branch team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our local member engagement—coordinating events, fostering strong member relationships, and ensuring a vibrant and inclusive member experience. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager, committees, and national teams to design, promote, and deliver events, manage communications, support member campaigns, and maintain the branch office.
This casual position includes occasional after-hours event support and requires the use of various digital tools to execute events and communications effectively.
About You
You’re a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for creating engaging member experiences. You thrive in a people-focused role, enjoy organising events, and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. You bring excellent communication skills, digital literacy (including social media), and a high level of attention to detail. Experience with event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and marketing platforms is highly desirable. A background in business administration or events—and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and initiative—will help you succeed in this role.
