About the Role
We are seeking a HC Delivery Driver responsible for ensuring Aline products and equipment are transported safely and efficiently.
Your role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Safe Driving: Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle by following all traffic laws and regulations, using defensive driving techniques.
- Transportation of Goods: Drivers should ensure the secure and timely transportation of their cargo.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, mileage. Accurate records of logbooks must be maintained and provided to Aline.
- Adherence to Schedule: Maintain a strict schedule when necessary, ensuring that deliveries or pick-ups are made on time.
- Safety Precautions: Follow safety protocols, such as wearing seatbelts and using appropriate safety measures for handling and securing the load.
- Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with despatchers and customers, providing updates on progress or any issues that may arise during the journey. Customer contact prior to every delivery.
- Compliance: Comply with all relevant regulations, including COR, timesheet records, weight restrictions, and any industry specific requirements.
- Environmental Responsibility: Minimise the environmental impact by fuel-efficient driving and reducing idling time.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and representing Aline positively when engaging with customers.
- Professionalism: Present a professional image and demeanour while on the job.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Complete startup checklist and report all issues immediately.
About You
- Good presentation & communication skills
- HC licences required
- White Card preferable
