Your Role in Our Mission
As part of a forward-thinking team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering expert bookkeeping services to a diverse range of clients. The Outsourced Office offers comprehensive support, providing valuable advice and guidance to help clients manage their financial operations with ease and precision.
Purpose:
The Senior Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in overseeing the preparation and delivery of high-quality bookkeeping services to a diverse client portfolio. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the growth and success of the division, helping shape its future expansion.
This role would suit someone with a solid bookkeeping background gained in public practice, who is eager to broaden their bookkeeping expertise and take on new challenges. What You’ll Do
Provide exceptional levels of service to support our clients in managing their business finances
Complete bookkeeping work for our clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and superannuation
Account reconciliations (Bank and Balance Sheet accounts)
Preparation of monthly & quarterly IAS/BAS returns
Preparation of EOFY statutory obligations (eg Workcover and TPAR declarations)
Liaising with clients and statutory authorities
Collaborate with the offshore team and assist with junior staff training
Ensure timely delivery of services and effective client management
What We’re Looking For
We value people who are driven, curious, and committed to excellence. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, BAS and payroll
A relevant bookkeeping qualification
Client relationship management experience
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in using Xero
Strong reconciliation skills
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work demands
Solution oriented approach
A willingness to work and contribute to the firm’s culture through our shared values.
