Work duties
- The position would suit a psychologist who enjoys variety and having most of their work directly with clients, including work under: Medicare, NDIS, EAP, Workcover/Workers Compensation, DVA and a variety of private clients and programs.
- In addition to direct clinical work, at times (and in alignment with skills/interests) the practitioner will provide clinical consultation, feedback, and support to the Clinical Team, including research, content writing, reporting, quality assurance activities, and assist with the development, review and evaluation of a range of therapeutic interventions. We also have set administration time in your schedule, so you have time to perform all aspects of your role.
Qualifications & experience
- Full registration with AHPRA (General or any area of endorsement)
- Experience with various therapeutic modalities
- Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice
- Willingness to work with a variety of presentations and programs where eligible (including Medicare, Work Cover, NDIS etc) – including gaining registration or completing training (during work hours) to upskill.
- Experience working with children and adolescents (desirable)
- Current WWC if applicable
- Police Clearance Check
- Must be living permanently in Australia.
