About You

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Distribution and Logistics Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, process improvement, and team collaboration.

You’ll Bring:

  • Knowledge and experience in asset management software such as 2iC, MyChep, and distribution logistics management systems like SAP or specific Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience in supporting logistics operations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage asset balances, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external teams, including Supply Chain, retail, and vendor management, to resolve issues and provide solutions.
  • Familiarity with transport allocation, inventory management, and asset management procedures for both owned and hire assets.
  • Ability to analyse and report on logistics data, providing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to ensure smooth operations and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and maintaining safe work practices within a distribution centre environment.

The Role

As a Distribution and Logistics Administrator, you will support the efficient operation of our distribution centres through asset management, transport coordination, safety compliance, and administrative tasks. This is a key role in ensuring that our logistics network runs smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support – Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and provide site administration support, including documentation and reporting.
  • Asset Management – Maintain controls and procedures for asset management, including tracking and managing both owned and hire assets using systems like 2iC, MyChep, and other WMS solutions.
  • Safety and Compliance – Lead safety initiatives across the distribution centres, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and reporting any hazards.
  • Training and Development – Ensure teams have the necessary tools, training, and access to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaboration – Foster strong relationships with Supply Chain, retail teams, and vendors to resolve issues and support continuous operational improvements.
  • Reporting – Provide regular reconciliation reports of asset balances and ensure accurate reporting of logistics performance against KPIs.
  • Process Improvement – Review and optimise current practices for storage, distribution, and logistics, driving a best-practice approach throughout the network.
